Bonnie

Bonnie’s ,love for detail and vibrant color came from friend and mentor Arthur Horsfall. Bonnie and Arthur spent many years going on outings to draw together. Both with a background in Graphic Arts, they loved to explore the play of light and shadow / color and reflections with paint. At the University of Manitoba in the Faculty of Fine Arts, she had the honor of having Ivan Eyre as one of her instructors. In her final year of Fine Arts, Bonnie was the recipient of The Heinz Jordan Award for Printmaking, as well as a National finalist in The Letraset Canada Competition.

What are Giclee prints?

Giclée; is a neologism coined in 1991 by printmaker Jack Duganne for fine art digital prints made on inkjet printers. The name originally applied to fine art prints created on IRIS printers in a process invented in the late 1980s but has since come to mean any inkjet print.
